Post #74: A Proposal for Asymmetric Encryption for Competitive Turn Based Games

Ok, wow, that title is ridiculously too verbose. But, I'm excited and think this concept is cool, and maybe that title helps communicate some of my excitement in a positive way. Or, maybe not, but I'll just leave it at this point.

I was thinking about the RNG API's I investigated yesterday, and then started thinking about the Cryptography API's that Godot provides.

This turned into thinking about how you could apply cryptographic concepts to games. While this is not new, I still think it's cool, and so here is my proposal for a very very basic way to verify a turn in a competitive turn based game is a) from the correct user, and b) hasn't been tampered with since the turn was made. Let me know what you think, especially if you are a cryptographer or have critiques on this! There's much more detail I could give, but I'm keeping it simple for now.
