Similar to yesterday, we'll continue the basic investigation through Godot's Four Key Concepts by looking at scenes. See the Godot Docs for more info, everything in this post comes from there!
A quick refresher...
Scenes: Scenes are a combination of nodes. One strength is their reusability; they can be a weapon, a level, or something else entirely.
The Godot team designed the editor so it could be easily used by different types of experts: artists, designers, programmers, etc. Instead of following a more rigid architectural model (like MVC or the ER Model), creators are encouraged to design based on what fits their game best. Here is an example from the docs:

Scenes are very powerful and flexible. While being a collection of nodes, they can be used like nodes, and are treated as such in different parts of the editor. They are so flexible, they are effectively their own design language.
