Post #27: Godot 4.7
Godot 4.7 has been released! Check out the release information here. Congrats and a big thank you to all the contributors who made this update possible!
For all of us with in-flight projects or games, if you update to 4.7, Godot (upon opening your project) will auto update your version. They will warn you first though:

On that dialog, if you choose to continue, your project.godot file will be updated. Here is an example git line diff:
-config/features=PackedStringArray("4.6", "Forward Plus")
+config/features=PackedStringArray("4.7", "Forward Plus")
Hopefully for most, the upgrade is done at that point. But some may need to edit their projects, replacing deprecated code or functions with the new equivalents.
In general... while version upgrades aren't the most "attractive" thing in development, it's important to be prepared and have a plan on how to handle them. If you have a great dependency plan you want to share, or any recommendations in general, let me know!
