We have visible progress! Besides the video (below), there are many things to share. Getting to this point introduced so many new parts of the Godot editor. For now, let's just stick with one takeaway!
In Godot, class members can be exported. Specifically, in this lesson, we learned about exposing this property: @export var mob_scene: PackedScene.
This is just an exported property that can then have its value manipulated through the Godot editor. Exported properties have their value saved along with the resource they're attached to, like a scene. Learn more about GDScript exported properties here!
